Danger! New Malware 'Godless' Ready To Attack Android Smartphone

No long time  ago a cyber security firm, Trend Micro has discovered a new malware or a malicious program called Godless. The new malware is known to attack the smartphone based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and earlier versions. In a report on its official blog, Trend Micro revealed that there are nearly 90 percent of Android devices have been infected with the malware. That means, there are more than 850 thousand Android devices around the world who have been infected with malware Godless. Malware is the most attacking Android users in the Indian state with a percentage of 46.19%, Indonesia amounted to 10.27%, and Thailand amounted to 9.47%.

Malware Godless almost like a tool commonly used by hackers to exploit the operating system Android.Where malware is to secure themselves by hiding behind the application. Who will then work if the smartphone display is off to gain root access on Android operating system. Having managed to get root access, then this malware secretly will automatically download and install a variety of applications at random without the user's knowledge. So that users have found that their Android smartphones have installed various "junk apps" they do not really need. And worryingly, Godless possibility could also be used by certain parties to spy on smartphone users infected with this malware. According to Trend Micro, Godless malware can infect existing applications in stores leading applications, including in the Google Play Store. Hence, Trend Micro recommends Android users should be cautious when downloading apps and always pay attention to a review of the application to be downloaded.
